College 101: How To Study for Finals.

1) Relax. Don't stress.

2) Colorful markers are.a.must.have! They make studying so much more fun!!

3) Coffee!! Preferably enjoyed while you sit for 6 hours at a quite coffee shop!

4) Flash-cards.

5) A study group. Only if it stays focused and on task.

6) Sleep.

6) Pray and spend time with Jesus!

How did/do you prepare for finals?

PS: It's so hard to believe this is the end of my time at Corban!! These nine months have flown by. If nine months can go so fast...just imagine how much faster the next THREE will go!!!!

College is a never-ending cycle of being exhausted mentally and physically. They have a secret plot of not letting you get any sleep and of pushing your limits!

Remember those naps you used to hate when you were a little kid? Now you suddenly love them. You suddenly need them. Sometimes you almost race back to your room with the excitement of your pillow and bed and 2 hours of sleep awaiting you! Speaking of...I'm going to go take one!

Seeing as this is the last day of classes for the semester...WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I'd give you a glimpse of what I've been learning this year:


Speech Class:

Anatomy & Physiology:

(this is for my Uncle Bob...even though he doesn't read this...he always talks about how "such and such isn't good for your pituitary gland" And one time we had a discussion about what it actually does and where it is...and we didn't really know...)

*The pituitary gland is an endocrine gland located in the head and is connected to the hypothalamus via the infindibulum stalk. It is divided into two parts, the anterior and posterior. The anterior produces and releases 7 hormones, (hGH, LH, TSH, FSH, PRL, ACTH, and MSH) and the posterior releases two hormones (OT and ADH). For the sake of not boring you further, I will not explain these hormones to you.
