"In our lives, be lifted high. In our world, be lifted high. In our love, be lifted high."

Last night we played Ronan, a winless team. It's really interesting because we are the closest they've come to a win. The first time we played we won in OT by 3, and last night we won by 3. And then to make it more interesting, on Saturday we play Drummond, an undefeated team. The closest they've come to losing is playing us...an 11 point game... And then to mix things up even more, Seeley beat Florence last night!! And Florence has beaten Deerlodge and us by like 20 points...but we were within 5 points both times we played Deerlodge...and we gave Seeley their win against us...and then Darby comes out and beats Seeley after two 8 point games...its crazy...

But last night was my best game of the season!! My first 3-pointer was an embarrassing brick way off to the right of the backboard... But then I ended up make 4!! I was about 4 for 6 0r 7!! And I had 18 points! And I took a charge! And I only had 2 fouls! Praise God!

Applaud Loud and Often

"What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks...to announce Your love at day break...Your faithful presence all through the night." Psalm 92:1-2

God has never taken His eyes off me. Not even for a millisecond. He's always near. He lives to hear my heartbeat. He loves to hear my prayers. He'd die for my sin before He'd let me die in my sin, so He did.

What do I do with such a Savior? Don't you sing to Him? Don't you declare, confess, and proclaim His name? Of course.

Worship God. Applaud Him loud and often. For my sake, I need it. And for heaven's sake, He deserves it.

"We Are Who We Thought We Were"

"We are who we thought we were" is the Lady Eagle quote of the season. Yes, it's borrowed from the Cardinals, the previously unheard of team that came out of nowhere and made it to the Superbowl. And while we haven't won any conference games except a double-overtime win against Ronan, our record is 5-7, the best record Valley girls have had in years. And we are two games into the back half of our season. Our first back season game was against Loyola. When we played them the first time at Loyola, we beat ourselves and lost by about 20. This last game, we were up by 2 at half time and lost by about 12. We scored in the 60s! That's by far the most we've ever scored against them! We finally clicked as a team, and except for a down 2 minutes in the third quarter, we played 30 minutes doing the simple things! The back half of our season is looking really good! Last night we played Deerlodge, and the first time we played them we lost by 3 in overtime. We had about a whole down quarter though, and lost by 5. But it was a game! As long as we keep focusing on doing the simple things and playing 32 minutes, we will be a force to be reckoned with!

I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. No wonder my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth shouts His praises! My body rests in safety.

"The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand."

And Have Even More Fun!!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Cross-Country Skiing

On New Years Eve Lauren, Monz, Heidi, Nate, my dad, and I went cross-country skiing at Pattee Canyon. And on New Years Day we went up to Lolo Pass. That was quite an adventure, but oh so fun!! We did a 6.25 mile loop, and it snowed about a foot while we were there! It took us 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot!!

Amos Obadiah...

These pictures are actually from August when Meaghan, Monz, and I went up to Deep Creek...and met (or caught) Amos Obadiah...except he didn't turn into a prince when we kissed him :(
