!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So...on Saturday the 24th, Jason Paul Koemans called my dad tell him of his heart to love God first and me second and to ask and my dad's blessing to court me. My dad called him back on Sunday and excitedly gave him his blessing. My dad's greatest desire in the man who pursed me is that his heart is dedicated first and foremost to God, and my dad sees this in Jason's life. Not only that but he see's how Jason leads our relationship towards God and fixes him as the center in our relationship. He sees how he leads our relationship to be an example to others of integrity, purity, and honor and love. So it's now official - Jason is courting me! Thank You God! You are so good! And thank You God that though we are in separate states for the school year you are knitting our hearts together in strong ties of love and in complete confidence! (Col 2:2-5)

Tonight there was a big halloween party (that I DID NOT go to!) But I helped and watched a lot of the girls get ready (I was like the mom with the camera and safety pins...lol) Anyway...here are some of their costumes!!

Do We Need Any More Evidence?

When Lennart Nilsson's pictures of developing embryos were published in Life magazine in 1965, they caused a sensation. Within days, the entire print run of eight million had sold out. More than 40 years later, the photographs have lost none of their power
These pictures are evidence of so much...
...how great is our God? How could evolution or a big bang accomplish this?
...A fetus is definitely ALIVE. Definitely a human.
...God works miracles. Life is a miracle...

Heidi!!!!!! Was here from Thurs-Sun and I really loved that!! It was sweet to get to have my sister here! =) On Thursday she went to XC practice with me and then we got take-out from Love-Love Teriyaki (yummy!!) and then went to a study session for my American Thought & Culture (ATC) test. On Friday she did an official school tour and then went to basketball practice while I was at XC practice and then we went to my XC team dinner. On Saturday I had a meet in Portland so she came to that and Corie watched too. The meet was really good, I felt like I ran my best ever! But I only PRd by 1 second! (20:20) My coach did say this course is slightly longer and it's a slow course, so I should be good to break 20 soon! And my finish was pretty sweet because me and this girl raced the last 200m side by side, each trying to out do the other by one step and I lunged for the finish line...and just after crossing it a fell and since the grass was wet I skidded on my belly a few feet! It was funny! But they said she still beat me!! After our race (during the boys race) it started POURING rain! And then we were all packing up to leave and I wasn't standing under the back edge of the tent when suddely a bucket of water dumped on my head! The wind had picked up the tent roof and blown all the water that was pooled on it onto my head! We all laughed super hard! Our team then went to Olive Garden (again, yummy!) When we got back Heidi and I and Mel (on my XC team) went to this cute coffee shop to study for a bit before the barn party. Monz and Mikayla (Kate's best friend, also from GFU) came down for the party and to stay the night!! I have pictures above from the barn party. We were only there for the last hour of it cause the girls got in so late, but it was...kinda fun... After the barn party (it was 11pm) we went to Winco and got snacks and breakfast and then to Sherry's to get a pumpkin pie which we ate while watching a movie! On Sunday we went to the homeless church (all 5 of us went) and then Mikayla took as all out to coffee and then we drove up to Portland to take Heidi to the airport. We stopped at the Clackamas Mall on the way. Praise God the drive wasn't too stressful! Heidi I miss you! Thanks for the fun time!

Silver Falls Run (Silverton, OR)

Ya so no joke, these are pictures of Silver Falls where we had our XC practice this morning! Ok I didn't take the pictures, they are just from google images because it's rather hard to carry your camera on a 5 mile run, but these are legit photos! It actually looks like this! It was so breathtaking! God's creation is so beautiful and stunning!

He Will Provide All Your Needs...
Being a full time college student and playing three sports, I didn't plan on working at all during the school year. So I have to survive on a tight budget of my summer savings. Then this opportunity came up to babysit on Thursday mornings, and Thursday is my light day, so I called the lady and left her a message. She didn't call me back though, and I was going to call her again, but I felt like God was saying "Just wait and trust me. You're too busy for this right now, you need your Thursdays for just down time. Trust me, I will provide." Tonight I got an unexpected bonus from my summer job that is going to be very very helpful. God is good!

The homeless people are so giving! They have next to nothing yet they're always looking out for each other and finding little things to bless each other with! Last week Tammie gave me a bracelet, and this week she gave me a tie dye t-shirt just because she knew I liked tie dye from a comment I made last week! She has next to nothing, and yet she gives what she has away!
Church was really good today! I led worship and I was super nervous about it because I'm used to playing back-up to Jason and not leading or singing...but God really blessed it this morning! It wasn't perfect, but it was about Him! And next week I'm excited because Monz is gonna spend Saturday night with me and come to church with me, so we're gonna do worship together!

Willamette University, Bush Park, Salem OR
We had our fourth meet today (wow, FOUR already!?). I pretty much DIED less than half a mile into it! But my shin didn't hurt...so that was good! And I still barely beat my highschool PR, but I was about 30 seconds slower than two weeks ago, which was my new PR. I was 150th out of over 300 girls and my time was 20:51. Our top three girls (the ones right in front of me!) all got PRs and had really good races! Our coach is really excited about us top 5 for conference! And I got to see Monz again, for about 30 seconds...but it was still awesome! Oh and our girls team all did temporary tattoos together just for fun =) I have two stars on my wrist, a dragonfly on my shoulder, and a star on the edge of my ear (like the cartilage part)! So that was fun too! =)
